Passport-size photographs meeting Irish visa specifications

Application Process

STEP 01

Secure a Job Offer

Obtain a signed contract from an Irish employer with annual salary of at least €30,000.

STEP 02

Employer Submits via EPOS

Your employer (or you) submits the Employment Permit application through the Employment Permits Online System (EPOS).

STEP 03

Gather Documents

Passport, employment contract, educational certificates, passport photos meeting Irish specifications.

STEP 04

Processing

Typical processing time is approximately 8 weeks. Fee: €250 (refunded if refused).

STEP 05

Apply for Entry Visa

Non-EEA nationals apply for a D-type entry visa at the Irish embassy in their home country.

STEP 06

Register on Arrival

Register with the Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB) within 90 days to receive your IRP card.
